i also have the lupine -- lage lupine russel variety -- which i planted sometime in july (rather late). i grew them straight from seeds and they still managed to catch up on blooming this august. they're lovely splotches of colors! my next purchase will be an anjia -- known to bloom until december -- and therefore, perfect for winter. =)
