Hard Red Wheat

They are sprouting now. Gary sowed the seeds about 5 days ago.

The ones i planted indoors then transplanted last week died...So I sowed directly some seeds today and hope they will grow.

This is Manang's journal about her surroundings/environment since she was transplanted from Philippines to this rural America.

I love living in this peaceful, spaceous, and clean part of the world, and I love raising my kids in this kind of environment where most people are polite and are concerned about other people. The sense of community is readily felt. My children love being here.
